Product Description
The Anti-Ligature Sliding Indicator Sign is designed to provide a safe and practical solution for displaying room status within healthcare and secure care environments. Installed on the corridor side of the door, the sign allows staff to quickly and clearly update room indicators when required.
The unit incorporates chamfered edges on all sides and a precision-engineered sliding mechanism to minimise potential ligature points. The reduced tolerance between the sliding rails and track ensures smooth operation while maintaining safety.
Two finger dimples on the sliding plate allow easy movement, enabling staff to change the indicator quickly and efficiently.
The sign is securely mounted using tamper-resistant security screws and can be installed onto suitable door surfaces where safety, durability, and reliability are essential.

Installation
- Ensure the mounting surface is clean and free from debris prior to installation.
- The sign must not bridge any gaps in the substrate.
- Any holes or damage in the mounting surface should be filled, allowed to harden, and sanded smooth before fixing the sign.
- Carefully level the sign and drill pilot holes before securing.
- Fix the sign using the two security screws provided.
- A small bead of anti-pick sealant is recommended to bed the sign onto the substrate and seal around the edges.
Cleaning
