Safe Access Evolution (SAE) is an electronic keyless lock system designed specifically for mental health bedrooms and sensitive care environments. Point 5 Plus collaborated with Anti-Ligature Shop (ALS) to provide project management, CAD design, and hands-on integration expertise, ensuring the system is fully functional, safe, and optimised for real-world use.
The system allows care facilities to upcycle existing mechanical locksets into ligature-resistant, keyless access, improving patient autonomy, staff control, and operational efficiency — all while preserving fire integrity.
