The Safe Slide Shroud is designed to provide a ligature-resistant protective enclosure for Deb soap, hand sanitiser, and cleanser dispensers widely used within mental health and healthcare environments. It enhances the overall safety of wall-mounted dispensers by securely housing the unit while still allowing authorised access when required.

The shroud features a key-operated sliding cover that keeps the dispenser locked in place during normal use, preventing removal or misuse. This design helps reduce ligature risks and ensures the dispenser cannot be detached from the wall and used as a potential weapon.

Developed with a modern, discreet appearance, the shroud integrates neatly with the existing Deb dispenser design, allowing it to be installed throughout patient areas without appearing intrusive.

The Safe Slide Shroud was developed by Point 5 Plus in collaboration with ALS to support safer hygiene solutions within healthcare facilities.
